2020 was a truly brutal year, full of hardship, tension, and great suffering. This is as much true for each individual, community, and the many ecosystems that were negatively impacted by last year's horrors. In the wake of such a traumatic collective experience, we can only hope that we learned some profoundly valuable lessons in the process that will help us heal from our wounds and rebuild with greater wisdom and resilience. Promise is a body of work inspired by the hardships of 2020 and looks to various traditions of indigenous wisdom, medicine, and land stewardship to help inform how to restore greater balance to our relationships with ourselves, one another, and the planet we all call Home.
